To visit the Yukon in the fall, go late in August or early September. That’s what I did this year. I found golden leaves that leave the light golden. Combined with that, this year there was wonderful summer weather, sunny with hot days and cool nights. I often visit at this time and I have seen snow on August 20th, but not this year. It was beautiful. As I’m writing this, there has been snow but it is still not winter. At the time of my visit I couldn’t help thinking about Jackson and Wes as they started their journey together moving into the early days of winter. Fall is short and beautiful. Not enough time to prepare an Southern Ontario boy for the Yukon Winter. Share the book with a friend to get them ready for generating heat in the winter.

Yukon Spring is on its way, although nothing is fast in the publishing industry. In the new book we will meet two Yukoners who were best friends but who have had that friendship derailed for a long time. Can it be reclaimed? Is that what they even want? Will there ever be enough forgiveness to find their way back? Believe me, the authors are as excited as you to find out how it all works out but we have hope.
